The Magic Kingdom is Walt Disney World's most famous theme park. Opened on October 1, 1971 it was the first of the four parks that now make up the resort and being host to an estimated 17 million visitors in 2007 it is the most visited theme park in the world.
Sporting the world famous Ciderellas Castle as it's ceterpiece The Magic Kingdom is a world of wonder containing seven completely different "Lands" all with thier own special theme complete with rides, shows and restaurants all carefully crafted to match the theme of the area they are in. |

Formally MGM Studios
Disneys Hollywood Studios is Walt Disney Worlds homage to the Hollywood of the 1930s and 1940s.
The whole park is constructed to resemble a working movie studios and as you wander around you do get the feeling of walking through movie set after movie set. Even most of the attractions at Disneys Hollywood Studios are constucted to give you the impression of actually taking part in a movie with the buildings and queing areas replicating soundstages.
Similar to The Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios is laid out into themed areas that blend together to create that motion picture studio environment. |

Epcot is primarily dedicated to international culture and technological innovation. Walt Disney always considered progress to be one of the greatest aspects of the human race and Epcot is a testament to his admiration of progress itself. His original plan was to build a real working futuristic community where people would live and work but, unfortunately, he never got to see his dream come true. Walt passed away before The Magic Kingdom was completed and after his death the Disney Corporation decided that instead of running a city it would incorporate the essence of Walt's idea into a new theme park.
Disney's Epcot (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) is a blend of two themed areas celebrating the human race, it's progress and it's diversity. |

Disney's Animal Kingdom (Disney World's largest park) is primarily centered around wildlife conservation.
Animal Kingdom is unique in that it serves as both a theme park and a zoo housing many, varying animals from all over the world and cleverly blending the two ideas together.
The attractions in this park are geared towards discovery, adventure and wildlife and showcase and explore not only animals of today but also extinct animals from the distant past.
Like the other Disney parks Animal Kingdom is also divided into themed areas. |
